Catch a Rising Star - an afternoon of opera

Lyric Opera Center of American Artists, established in 1974 as the professional artist-development program for the Lyric Opera of Chicago, is one of the best of its kind in the world.

That standing is maintained by providing unparalleled training and experience to a dozen or so singers who are selected from over 500 who audition annually. Those in residence receive advance instruction in numerous aspects of operatic performance with some of opera's most renowned stars. Our program will present four of the current singers.
