The quartet will be joined by John Bruce Yeh, assistant principal clarinetist of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, in a performance of Brahmss Clarinet Quintet. |

| The Quartets performances are remarkable for their intensity
and virtuosity, displaying a unique versatility in a broad and challenging repertoire
ranging form Haydn to Husa. Based in the New York City area, the Colorado Quartet is in
demand throughout the United States and around the world, having appeared in more than
twenty countries. Known as inspiring, dedicated teachers, the members of the Quartet
founded the Soundfest Chamber Music Festival and Quartet Institute in Falmouth,
Massachusetts in 1991. The ensemble collaborates frequently with todays leading
composers, and has been the catalyst for a number of important new works. The Colorado
Quartet records for the Fidelio, Parnassus, Albany, and Mode labels. The members of the Colorado String Quartet are Julie Rosenfeld, violin; Deborah Redding, violin; Francesca Martin Silos, viola; and Diane Chaplin, cello. |
